Roger contacted me wanting to meet with me over some content I posted to Facebook disparaging Kenny. He was very hazy over who alerted him to the supposed insult or where, when or what it consisted of except that it was about Larry Toomey helping your cousin with his SATs after he'd failed twice to meet Columbia's standards. I tried to get enough information to be able to find and remove anything remotely like that, but he kept insisting on meeting with me personally. I finally blew him off, but still would like to remove whatever was upsetting him. He told Don Beauchamp he had learned of it after some recent family gathering. Do you have any idea what he's talking about? I'm eager to erase any perceived compromising posting, but I don't have a prayer unless I know where to begin.
Best regards to you and the family. Hope you've sailed through the Covid crisis that's finally winding down.
Say hello to your mother and Pammi for me.
Your Cormey side cousin, Terry

Terry, I do not know Roger's source but I do recall seeing the post. I confirmed with him that I had seen it but it had been many months or more than a year since I saw it. He wanted the precise reference to his brother. I don't recall any mention of not meeting Columbia's standards. I do recall that you included Woodman and that it was stated as if a known fact. I viewed your post as a very poor decision even if you believed it to be true. I also felt confident anyone that knew Kenny well would not change their opinion of him. When it was pointed out to me by my kids. I assured them that Larry was not available at Columbia as Kenny continued to excel at test taking culminated by his passing his medical boards on his first attempt. I don't know what you could do at this point to correct it as any further reference would only bring more attention to it. As I believe you know I am not a fan of Facebook and feel our conversations have always gone sideways so I would rather not spend any more time on this. If you want to help me in any way, please get me pictures of my mother as a child which I attempted to get from you in time for her 90th birthday. I wish you good health and happiness

I'll see if there are any prints of Marilyn, but I don't remember many. The best I could do back then was send clips from a DVD I had. In fact, if you would like that DVD to play for her, I'll send it to you. I've extracted as much from it as I can with limited technical knowledge. Susanne has her mother's photo collection, and you might ask her. Thanks for your help in identifying SAID post. I can't say much further without seeing the content itself. If I find it, it will be screen captured and will then disappear from the public eye forever. Keep the Faith,
Your Cormey side cousin, Terry.

Three things: First, I've sent you everything I could find. I honestly my mother having anything but her senior picture and a graduation snapshot. The only images I've ever seen of Marilyn younger were on that DVD. Trying to screen capture produced only extremely blurry images. Second: I don't know what "sideways conversations you're referring to, but that sort of thing happens face to face just as easily. Third: I'll make peace with (my friend, by the way) Kenny directly, and will share the final disposition with you and with Roger. I'm truly sad that so many successful and accomplished people find some trope of mine worth more than a minute of your time. Someone surely could have screen captured the offending post to confront me with, but I'll take the word of Roger's anonymous informant and proceed as if I'm guilty of libel or slander. Say hi to your mom and to Jimmy, Karen and Pammi for me. You'll hear nothing further until I've apologised in person. Larry's birthday Tuesday. He'd have been 77 had he lived. How ironic.

Terry, first I will take your word that you have nothing else in the way of pictures. My mom insisted Thelma had several including ones of herself in particular and that you had told her you had them and would bring for her when your mom was at Overlook. Secondly, I did not want to spend more than one minute on the post you made and thought I had accomplished that when my kids brought it to my attention. It clearly stated that Kenny and Brian Woodman had Larry take their exams as if a fact. Whatever damage was done from someone who may not know Kenny well is long past and un-fixable at this time. As for Sideways conversations, I felt I had reached out to you on a couple occasions regarding a memorial for you mom and pictures for my mom that went seriously off track and instead provided much information about other things that I did not have time or interest in. Then the post on Kenny and reference to my dad who is unable to defend himself and mostly only had kind words to say about you. You are welcome to email me at billcrc@aol.com (what I still use for personal only) but I do not want any more reason to go to facebook other than to view a few peoples posts of pictures that may interest me. Sincerely, wish you the best despite my upcoming block of you which does not make you unique in that regard. Neither will I be offended if I don't hear from you
